Basic eligibility criteria

  • Permanent residents of the Northwest Territories
  • Valid health care card
  • Care needs that cannot be met by the family
  • Care services provided subject to availability in the community

Typical clients

  • People whose assessed needs can be provided for in the community
  • People whose assessed needs can be best met through home care programs
