I've met many caregivers who have told me stories about their experiences; whether these tales were humorous, sad or even tragic, I always learned something.

So here's a chance to share your story with other caregivers. You may be caring for someone in your own home; you may have just had to place a relative in care or you feel helpless because your loved one lives on the other side of the country — whatever you are or have experienced, you never know who you may help just by sharing your story. You may also find that writing down your thoughts and feelings may help put them into perspective.

Let me know too if you want me to include your personal information at the end of your story (e-mail address, for example) so other caregivers can respond to you.
